Virtual Little Falls Village Presents: The Golden Age of Music

Join Michael Lavine as he takes you on a tour of Tin Pan Alley. He will be joined by Broadway and cabaret performers, as he presents many of the world’s most beloved songs of the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Join us for “The Golden Age of Music” with Michael Lavine, Music Director, Performance Coach, and Archivist. Michael has worked all over the world as a musical director, pianist, vocal coach and singer. He gives master classes on auditioning in New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Bangkok, Australia, Singapore, Tokyo, Manila, Martha’s Vineyard and other locations. He has worked with composers as varied as Stephen Schwartz, Stephen Sondheim and Burton Lane, and Comden and Green.
Join Michael Lavine as he takes you on a tour of Tin Pan Alley, from its humble beginnings in the Lower East Side and moving on to Broadway and Movie Musicals. Michael will be joined by Broadway and cabaret performers, as he presents many of the world’s most beloved songs of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Feel free to sing along!
This program is free and open to all and is presented as a partnership between Little Falls Village and the Little Falls Library of Montgomery County Public Libraries.
