Artis Senior Living proudly provides compassionate, individualized Memory Care to residents who discover new ways to experience a rich and rewarding life in our warm, family-like communities.
We are excited to bring professional Memory Care to this serene suburb of Bethesda, and only 14 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., we are nearby to parks, natural history and the Potomac Village Shopping Center.
Uniquely and Intentionally Designed
Residents of Artis Senior Living of Potomac will benefit from the community’s supportive design, which will offer the comforts of home in a secure environment and features distinct, smaller neighborhoods within a larger community.
Each of our neighborhoods will lead to the heart of the community—the Town Center, a place to gather and experience all the services and amenities we have to offer.
Artis Senior Living communities use intentional design to encourage independence and provide security for our residents. The open neighborhood design allows residents to move throughout the community in a safe way. While our well-thought-out individual residences reinforce familiarity to provide a sense of the comforts of home.
With surroundings that accommodate the needs of those who live with memory care, our care partners can focus on getting to know and celebrating the uniqueness of each resident.

To Our Artis Families:
“As you likely know from media reports, most of our nation is facing a resurgence in infections, hospitalizations and even deaths. For this reason, Artis Senior Living is announcing that all associates will be required to have, at a minimum, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by November 1, 2021.
As of the same date, all new associates will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Please note that certain accommodations and exceptions may be granted in accordance with applicable laws.
Based on extensive data afforded to us through the Artis Safety Council, our partnership with the physicians of Johns Hopkins Medicine and now with approval from the FDA, we believe that this is the only possible decision to best protect our residents and associates and the people they love most.
…Throughout this pandemic we have listened carefully to our residents, our associates and their families and we’ve considered the voices of each one before coming to this incredibly important decision. While we would have preferred to continue a voluntary process, our commitment to safety outweighs the concerns with imposing this requirement…
We must all do our part to help reduce the number of people affected by this virus in any way we can. We hope that if you have not done so already, you will consider getting vaccinated for not only the protection of your loved one, but also for their neighbors, the associates that care for them each day and all their families.”
