BE Rehab offers Rehabilitation Services at Home
BE Rehab is a company providing outpatient rehabilitation services by serving its patients at their homes. Services include Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
Our clinicians focus on the senior population with the goal of keeping them as independent and safe as possible in their own homes.
We offer senior physical assistance by aiding seniors to get back on their feet by creating an individualized plan of care that addresses their needs.
We partner with different Independent Living and Assisting Living Facilities in the Maryland area in order to improve the quality of life of their residents.
We also provide physical and occupational therapy at the patient’s own home.
We believe our patients should be able to stay at their homes safely with the right help. We help people BE Strong, BE Pain-Free, BE Themselves, and BE Independent (BE Rehab!).
Home Rehabilitation Services:
Whether you are recovering from an injury, fall, or illness; our physical and occupational therapists work with you to help you regain your well-being and independence through a wide range of therapeutic approaches and home rehabilitation services.
At BE Rehab, our approach focuses on helping you recover your abilities within your own environment.
We design a comprehensive plan of care that addresses your needs while remaining safe at home where family members and caregivers can be involved.
Physical Therapy Approaches:
Some physical/occupational therapy approaches that we use as home rehabilitation services to help you might include:
-
Strengthening Exercises:
These improve your quality of life by addressing muscle imbalances, and muscle weakness in order to improve your abilities to move and do the activities you enjoy doing.
-
Pain Management:
Focuses on treating muscle injuries, pain, and stiffness that limit your activities of daily living.
-
Balance Training:
Aims to reduce your risk of falling and prepares you to safely perform activities without losing your balance.
We also offer Gait Training which is involving teaching your muscles how to properly walk again.
- This might involve training with an assistive device like a walker or a cane.
-
Flexibility Training:
Targets tight muscles that might be limiting your abilities or increasing your pain. This could help you move more freely.
-
Postural training:
Assists you to have better control of your body and have a better posture while moving around.
The following are questions you might be asking yourself:
Do I need Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy?
Sometimes people have a hard time knowing if they need rehabilitation services, so you might ask yourself the following questions:
- Do I have any pain?
- Do I lose my balance often?
- Have I fallen in the last couple of months?
- Am I needing more help than before?
- Do I want to move more freely?
- Am I feeling weak?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you might be in need of our services. At BE Rehab, we want to help you overcome those problems. Please contact us to know if you can benefit.
What do I need to start?
We would need you to provide us the following information:
Copy of your insurance cards (so we can verify therapy is covered by your insurance)
Photo identification (So we can verify your identity)
Primary Care Physician contact information (So we can communicate about the plan of care with your doctor)
Do I need a referral to start Physical or Occupational Therapy?
No! The law in the state of Maryland and other states allows you to be evaluated and treated by a Physical Therapist without needing a prescription from a doctor.
This will allow you to start your treatment right away.
We will discuss your case with your doctor after evaluating you in order to establish a plan of care centered on your needs and get his/her approval.
How much is it?
Physical and Occupational Therapy is normally covered by your insurances. We are certified with Medicare and Medicaid. We will verify your insurance coverage before we start physical or occupational therapy.
Some of our patients also pay privately. Please let us know if you want to explore this option so we can discuss it with you.
