Have you ever wondered what goes into bringing symphonic
music to the stage? This class will take you behind
the scenes to explore what makes up a modern orchestra. We
will explore the structure of an orchestra including: types of
instruments; seating arrangements; the role of the conductor;
the preparation process for public performances; and the
formatting of an orchestral score. You will watch recordings
of rehearsals of the best orchestras.This class is taught by a
conductor. Students 60+ pay fee only.
